Hello, I'm Pastor Bobby Ivester. Please allow me to tell you a little about myself and the path that led me to the River of Life Worship
Center.
In the Spring of 1981, I was invited to play on a church softball team. There was only
one requirement, I had to attend one Sunday per month to be eligible for the team. Little did I know that I was being targeted
for evagelism because the church just happened to be in revival at the time. On my first visit, I came under terrible conviction and
gave my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Since that time, all of the best things that have ever happened to me have revolved around
the church.
In February of 1982, a friend of mine arranged for me to have a date with a young lady
that attended our church. We were married in 1983 and I have now shared a church pew with her for the past twenty-seven years. We
also have a eighteen year old son (Ben) who is also very active in youth ministries. Finally in 1987, I answered the call to preach
and it has been my passion every since.
In January, 2006, I became Senior Pastor of River of Life Worship
Center. Since that time we have been experiencing all the characteristics of a great revival. Souls are being saved. Attendance is
increasing. New members are being added. Tithing is increasing. Ministries are being revived.
We are excited
about the future as God expands our vision for Nicholson, GA and invite you to "come and see" what God is doing at the River of Life
anytiime you're in the area.
