HOW TO BE SAVED

1. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23, NASB)
	This verse teaches that:
	1. Everyone is a sinner by nature.
	2. Everyone is a sinner by choice.
2. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23, NASB)

	By "death" this verse means:
	1. Spiritual death
	2. Eternal death

3. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(Romans 5:8 NASB)

	This verse teaches:
	1. That God loves us (sinners)
	2. So much that Christ died for us
	3. While we were still in our sin

4. That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. (Romans 10:9 NASB)
This verse gives the first steps necessary for a person to be born again:
	1. You must be willing to state publicly (confess) that you believe Jesus is Lord.
	2. You must accept Christ from the depths of your being (believe in your heart).
	3. You must believe that Jesus died for you personally and that He was raised from the dead.

5. For whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13 NASB)
This verse calls for you to take action:
	1. Ask Jesus to save you.
	2. You can take this action by saying and meaning the prayer below.

Dear God, I know that I have sinned and need forgiveness.
I believe that Jesus died for my sins.
Forgive my sins and make me right with you.
I will follow Jesus as my Lord and obey Him in all I do. Amen.
